Job summary

AECOM is recruiting a Senior Planning Engineer in Dubai to lead and monitor project schedules across design, procurement and construction. The role emphasizes collaborating with supervision teams, client and contractor to confirm milestones and mitigate delays.

You will drive progress reports, cash flows and risk-based recovery strategies. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in planning for infrastructure projects, strong Primavera P6 skills, UAE experience with RTA/DM/DEWA, and a proven ability

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project planning, scheduling and progress monitoring for infrastructure.
• Experience managing schedules for stormwater, microtunneling, sewerage and roads.
• Strong EOT, CPA and resource-loaded schedule knowledge.
• Primavera P6 and MS Excel hands-on; UAE experience with RTA/DM/DEWA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Review baseline programmes for contract compliance and resources.
• Monitor progress, identify variances and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports with progress, delays and recovery plans.
• Evaluate EOT claims and revised programmes as per contract procedures.
• Support risk mitigation and progress-measurement systems.
