Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Planning Manager to lead all project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting for large infrastructure programs. The role interfaces with the Client, project director, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely decisions and successful project delivery.

You will manage design, construction, testing, handover and close-out phases, develop master programmes, and drive continuous improvement in planning methodologies across the project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/related field.
• PMP/PMI-SP or equivalent certification preferred.
• 15+ years in planning and project controls; 5+ years as planning manager on major infra.
• Experience in UAE infrastructure projects and authority requirements is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update the project master programme using Primavera P6 or equivalent.
• Monitor progress, analyse schedule performance, identify delays, and propose recovery plans.
• Identify risks, conduct delay analyses, and support EOT assessments and claims.
• Coordinate planning with Client, contractors, consultants and authorities; lead meetings.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, and KPI analyses.
• Lead and mentor planning engineers; establish procedures and reporting standards.
