Position Overview

The Senior Planning Engineer role at Azizi Developments leads planning and scheduling activities to ensure timely delivery of large-scale residential and commercial projects managed from Dubai. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and related planning tools
• Define project scope, milestones, timelines, and resource allocations to meet contractual deadlines
• Establish and maintain baseline programmes to guide execution and measure progress
• Prepare and review baseline programmes, updated schedules, S‑curves, manpower histograms, and resource deployment plans
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify potential delays or risks
• Conduct delay analysis, review extension of time claims, and prepare time impact analysis reports
• Coordinate closely with project managers, supervision teams, and site teams to align planning with execution
• Prepare periodic progress reports and dashboards for senior management and clients, highlighting risks and corrective actions
• Support effective decision‑making through accurate schedule forecasting and performance analysis

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline
• 8 to 12 years of total building construction site experience, including at least 4 years on infrastructure projects
• Prior experience on building or villa projects is required
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, scheduling reports, MS Office, and PowerPoint presentations
• Experience using Power BI for data analysis, reporting, and dashboards
• Solid understanding of construction sequencing, resource planning, and progress measurement
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project priorities
