Job summary

Tiger Steel Eng.LLC in United Arab Emirates seeks a senior PEB Draughtsman to prepare and maintain complete proposal and approval drawing packages, translating engineering inputs into coordinated GA plans, elevations, sections and framing layouts for accurate fabrication.

You will collaborate with design engineers, ensure drawings reflect required specifications, manage revisions, and deliver compliant outputs for anchors, framing and cladding with Tekla/3D drafting knowledge advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in PEB drafting with independent responsibility for customer/consultant approval drawings.
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency; ability to prepare GA plans, elevations, sections and layouts.
• Tekla/3D drafting knowledge is an advantage.

Job description

Scope

Prepare and maintain complete PEB proposal and customer/consultant approval drawing packages, accurately translating engineering inputs and contractual requirements into coordinated drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Review project information, customer drawings, engineering sketches, specifications and the agreed scope of supply.

• Prepare GA plans, elevations, sections and framing layouts showing building dimensions, bay spacing, roof slopes, levels and required clearances.

• Prepare anchor-bolt and column layouts, incorporating base details and reaction information supplied by the design engineer.

• Develop roof/wall framing and cladding layouts, including openings, doors, windows, louvers, skylights, canopies and other specified accessories.

• Incorporate mezzanine layouts, crane clearances and interfaces with civil works and other disciplines, where applicable.

• Coordinate with design engineers to resolve inconsistencies and confirm that drawings accurately represent the engineering requirements.

• Prepare approval submissions, incorporate checker/client/consultant comments and manage resubmissions until comments are closed.

• Maintain drawing registers, revision histories and submission records, highlighting changes affecting scope, dimensions or subsequent detailing.

• Provide the latest approved information to the Tekla/detailing team and support preparation of subsequent drawing issues as authorized.

• Check drawing completeness, guide junior draftsmen and meet agreed submission schedules.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience: Minimum 10 years in PEB drafting, with independent responsibility for customer/consultant approval drawings.

• Skills: Strong AutoCAD proficiency; preparation of GA plans, elevations, sections, anchor-bolt layouts, framing, cladding, openings and accessory details. Tekla/3D drafting knowledge is an advantage.

• Responsibilities: Prepare approval packages from engineering inputs, incorporate client comments, manage revisions, raise technical queries and coordinate with design/project teams.

• Technical knowledge: PEB framing, built-up members, purlins, girts, bracing, roofing/cladding and civil interfaces.
