Job summary

Latinem is seeking a Senior Draftsman to prepare detailed shop drawings for modular construction steel structures, using Revit and AutoCAD, coordinating with engineering and production teams.

You will develop accurate 3D BIM models, produce GA drawings and fabrication information, and ensure drawings support manufacturing, assembly, transportation and site installation.

The role emphasizes quality checks, document control and adherence to project standards across disciplines.

The Senior Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed engineering and shop drawings for modular construction systems steel structures and prefabricated building components The role involves developing accurate 2D and 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD coordinating with engineering and production teams and ensuring drawings are optimized for manufacturing assembly and site installation The position plays a key role in transforming design concepts into production-ready documentation b b b

Key Responsibilities

Design amp Drafting

• Prepare detailed shop drawings
• fabrication drawings
• assembly drawings
• and installation drawings for modular construction products
• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit
• Produce accurate 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD
• Prepare steel detailing drawings including framing plans

BIM amp Coordination

• Coordinate models and drawings with architectural structural MEP and manufacturing teams
• Ensure BIM models are developed in accordance with project requirements and company standards
• Participate in design coordination meetings and resolve drawing conflicts
• Support clash detection and model validation processes

Manufacturing amp Project Support

• Ensure drawings are optimized for factory production modular assembly transportation and site installation
• Prepare material take-offs schedules and drawing registers
• Incorporate comments from engineers clients consultants and production teams
• Provide technical drafting support during design development and project execution

Quality amp Documentation

• Perform drawing checks to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with standards
• Maintain document control and revision management
• Ensure compliance with project specifications applicable codes and company drafting standards
