Job summary

Zooclinica seeks a detail-oriented Drafting Engineer to support engineering and project teams with accurate drawings, lifting sketches, and technical layouts in line with international standards and company guidelines.

The role demands 3–5 years of relevant experience, exposure to EPC environments, and strong CAD skills. You will collaborate with project and technical teams to produce execution-ready drawings that meet safety and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical / Drafting / Structural Engineering.
• Experience as a Drafting Engineer.
• Experience working with EPC companies (Engineering, Procurement & Construction).
• Experience in fabrication and installation companies as Drafting / Development Engineer.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Basic site/field experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of standards: EN 12195, ISO 19901, DNV-ST-N001, LOLER, and local transport regulations.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate engineering drawings, lifting sketches, and technical layouts based on project requirements.
• Prepare CAD drawings for lifting plans, rigging configurations, equipment positioning, and transport routing.
• Convert engineering concepts into clear, execution-ready layouts and technical illustrations.
• Support Project Engineers and the Technical Manager with high-quality design documentation.
• Update and revise drawings based on engineering and client feedback.
• Conduct site visits when required to collect measurements and as-built information.
• Maintain drawing registers, documentation, and structured file management.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure practical and safe design solutions.
• Prepare 2D drawings, equipment schematics, and basic 3D visualizations (if required).
• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, safety rules, and international guidelines.
• Ability to prepare lifting plans, method statements, and detailed technical drawings.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, OEM, and related drafting software.
• Understanding of crane operations, lifting engineering, and transport layouts; fabrication, erection of piping/structures; equipment/machineries.
