Job summary

inDrive is seeking an experienced Payroll Accounting Manager in the United Arab Emirates to own payroll accounting operations across multiple markets, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

You will lead month-end and quarter-end close, drive automation, develop robust internal controls, and partner with external auditors. A CPA and 7+ years of accounting experience, including public company exposure, are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a public company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred.
• Experience with payroll accounting and related compliance requirements.
• Proven track record of leading process improvements and system implementations.
• Proficient in NetSuite or similar accounting software with financial systems integration.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Self-starter able to work independently and manage multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and quarter-end close calendar, reconciliations, and flux presentations to management.
• Own payroll accounting functions including processing, reconciliation, compliance, and reporting.
• Design and implement robust accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Drive automation and process improvements to scale company growth.
• Develop accounting policies leveraging US GAAP with cross-functional input.
• Identify inefficiencies and design innovative solutions.
• Partner with external auditors to support audits and timely deliverables.
• Assist with processing employee equity grants.
