The Senior Structural Engineer will provide senior technical oversight for structural construction activities and help ensure that approved engineering designs are translated accurately into completed building works. The position requires close attention to structural integrity, construction sequencing, material performance, workmanship, and safe execution throughout the project lifecycle. As a technical authority on site, the engineer will also guide other supervision personnel, resolve structural challenges, and coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and project leadership. Candidates should hold a bachelor 's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a directly related discipline and have at least 15 years of professional experience in structural engineering and construction site supervision. A strong track record on large‑scale structural construction projects is essential, including experience following projects through major phases of execution. Candidates should understand how structural design, materials, construction methodologies, sequencing, testing, and quality control interact on complex building developments. Advanced ability to read and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, engineering specifications, and technical documentation is required. Applicants should also be capable of evaluating site conditions and reaching technically defensible decisions when construction challenges arise. Leadership experience is important because the position involves supervising engineers, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and providing clear technical direction to site personnel. Previous Middle East or UAE construction experience is preferred.
