Job summary

KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is seeking a Specialist Process Engineer for an offshore water injection project. The role covers design, modification, integration and commissioning of offshore water injection facilities in the UAE, with relocation to Spain and back to Abu Dhabi as required.

The ideal candidate holds a Chemical/Process Engineering degree with 15–18 years in Oil & Gas, strong offshore brownfield experience, and familiarity with FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, and commissioning phases.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
CEng or equivalent professional registration preferred.
15–18 years of process engineering experience in Oil & Gas projects.
Minimum 5 years in offshore brownfield projects.
Strong offshore water injection facilities and produced water systems experience.
Experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, Commissioning, and Start-up phases.
ADNOC Offshore or Middle East project experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead offshore water injection process design and related facilities.
Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, and process design basis.
Perform hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, simulations, and system evaluations.
Review and optimize water injection system design for efficiency and operability.
Support safety studies (HAZID/HAZOP/SIL/LOPA) and MOC activities.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for detailed engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
Provide technical support during commissioning and startup; review vendor documents and proposals.
Conduct offshore site reviews and support brownfield modifications.
