Job summary

KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is seeking a Specialist Rotating Equipment Engineer for an Offshore Water Injection project based in Abu Dhabi. The role leads engineering, design, selection, procurement and technical management of rotating equipment for ADNOC Offshore projects, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes from FEED to commissioning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering; Master’s preferred.
Professional engineering certification preferred.
15–18 years in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, LNG, Refinery or Offshore EPC.
Minimum 5 years in Lead Rotating Engineer role.
Experience with FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC and Brownfield projects.
Extensive ADNOC Offshore, ADNOC Gas, Saudi Aramco, QatarEnergy or major Middle East projects.
Offshore platforms and gas compression experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead rotating equipment design and engineering for offshore facilities.
Oversee datasheets, specifications, requisitions, bids, vendor documents.
Design and select compressors, turbines, pumps, generators, and package equipment.
Ensure ADNOC standards and API/ISO/ASME/IEC compliance.
Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Structural and Procurement teams.
Review vendor proposals and conduct clarification meetings.
Support procurement, inspection, FAT, construction, commissioning and start-up.
Participate in HAZID/HAZOP/SIL, design reviews, constructability reviews.
Mentor rotating equipment engineers and project team members.
Monitor schedules and ensure timely delivery of equipment packages.
