Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Lead Process Engineer – Offshore Project to lead advanced process engineering for offshore facilities in Abu Dhabi, with relocation to Spain and back to UAE as project needs require.

The role covers FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, commissioning, and startup phases, with emphasis on brownfield integration and safety compliance. The candidate will coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Instrumentation, Electrical, and Operations teams, and provide technical guidance through

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Process Engineering required.
20+ years of process engineering experience in Oil & Gas; offshore brownfield is highly preferred.
CEng or equivalent registration is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead process engineering activities for offshore water injection systems and facilities.
Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, design bases, and calculations.
Perform hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, and process simulations.
Support brownfield modifications and offshore tie-ins; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and LOPA studies; ensure safety compliance.
