Job summary

KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team seeks an experienced Specialist Safety Engineer - Technical for offshore project support in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role provides expert Technical Safety and Process Safety engineering across the lifecycle, ensuring compliance with ADNOC requirements and international standards.

Responsibilities include leading HAZID/HAZOP and other safety studies, reviewing safety-critical elements, and coordinating interfaces with multi-discipline teams during FEED, Detailed Engineering,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering mandatory.
• 17+ years of oil & gas industry experience
• 5+ years offshore project experience mandatory

Responsibilities

• Provide Technical Safety/HSE support during FEED, Detailed Engineering, Construction and Commissioning.
• Ensure hazards are identified, assessed and mitigated throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review process-safety design requirements and safety-critical elements.
• Support the implementation of Process Safety Management (PSM).
• Coordinate safety interfaces with other engineering disciplines.
• Lead safety studies and risk workshops (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL/LOPA, Bow-Tie, SIMOPS).
• Ensure safety study recommendations are implemented and risk reductions are achieved.
