Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Specialist Safety Engineer – Technical for an offshore project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role concentrates on technical safety and process safety expertise throughout the lifecycle, ensuring adherence to ADNOC requirements and international standards.

The successful candidate will lead risk workshops, review safety deliverables, and coordinate interfaces across engineering disciplines to support brownfield modifications, commissioning and operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
Minimum 17+ years in Oil & Gas industry.
Minimum 5+ years offshore project experience.
Experience with ADNOC requirements and international standards.

Responsibilities

Lead technical safety and process safety activities across FEED, detailed engineering, construction and commissioning.
Identify, assess and mitigate hazards throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate safety interfaces with multidisciplinary teams.
Review safety studies and ensure implementation of risk mitigation.
