Job summary
KBR Engineering Inc in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Specialist Process Engineer to provide expert process design for a major ADNOC Offshore project. The role centers on reviewing EPC contractor deliverables, ensuring technical integrity, and advising on process safety and performance from FEED through commissioning.
The candidate will coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Electrical and Control disciplines, perform process simulations using Aspen HYSYS/PRO-II, and support construction and start-up with
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Extensive process engineering experience in Oil & Gas.
- Strong offshore EPC/PMC project experience.
- Experience in FEED and Detailed Engineering.
- Experience reviewing offshore production facilities.
- ADNOC Offshore/PMC exposure is a plus.
- Proficiency with Aspen HYSYS or PRO-II.
- Knowledge of PFDs, P&IDs and process philosophies.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist technical expertise for process engineering and design activities.
- Review EPC Contractor deliverables and ensure technical integrity.
- Perform or review process simulations using Aspen HYSYS/PRO-II.
- Review equipment sizing, PFDs, P&IDs and heat & material balances.
- Assist in HAZID/HAZOP and safety reviews.
- Coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines to resolve issues.
