Job summary

KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team seeks a Specialist Safety Engineer to provide expert Technical Safety and Process Safety engineering across an offshore project lifecycle. Based in Abu Dhabi, role covers FEED through commissioning, ensuring ADNOC compliance and safety objectives.

Responsibilities include hazard identification, risk workshops, and safety analyses, collaborating with multi-discipline teams to deliver safe, compliant offshore installations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering – mandatory.
Minimum 17+ years of overall experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Minimum 5+ years of Offshore project experience – mandatory.

Responsibilities

Provide specialist Technical Safety/HSE support during FEED, Detailed Engineering, Construction and Commissioning phases.
Ensure hazards are identified, assessed and mitigated throughout the project lifecycle.
Review process-safety design requirements and safety-critical elements.
Support implementation of Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements.
Review Loss Prevention philosophies and Process Safety deliverables.
Develop/check technical-safety calculations, datasheets, specs, drawings and deliverables.
Coordinate Technical Safety requirements with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Instrumentation, Electrical, Civil/Structural disciplines.
