Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd. seeks a Senior HUC Manager to lead hook up and commissioning planning for offshore projects. You will supervise HUC engineers, shape offshore marine spread, and ensure safe, cost-effective delivery to client specifications.

With 15+ years in offshore Oil & Gas and a Bachelor’s in Engineering, you will drive readiness, manage budgets, and mentor teams while coordinating with internal departments and clients to meet execution targets.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in offshore Oil & Gas with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop project HUC scope and deliverables including plans and schedules.
• Lead and manage the HUC team to deliver work per plan.
• Interface with internal departments to align strategies.
• Conduct constructability reviews and ensure safe, cost-effective solutions.
• Oversee readiness, mobilization, and offshore execution readiness.
• Manage marine spread including vessels and support boats.
• Control the assigned HUC budget and report variances.
• Develop client relationships and conduct project meetings.
• Facilitate HAZID and SIMOPS workshops.
• Identify and manage business and operational risks; pursue opportunities.
• Ensure subcontractor and vendor requirements are defined and assigned.
• Multitask across offshore campaigns and liaise with stakeholders.
• Lead daily offshore calls and ensure safety of personnel.
• Mobilize offshore with visible leadership.
