Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Construction Manager (Offshore) in Abu Dhabi to lead on-island construction and onshore precast for a high-profile ADNOC Offshore project. You will manage planning, execution, and safety, coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to deliver brownfield modifications and offshore transportation and installation.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent senior site experience.
Professional Engineer accreditation preferred.
Minimum of twenty (20) years of construction management experience on large oil and gas development projects.
Excellent leadership and communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

Lead the Construction team to support the objectives and strategies.
Champion safety in all construction aspects and promote the safety objective.
Manage On Island Construction teams responsible for planning, development and operations.
Manage Contractor’s construction planning and execution to meet project objectives.
Establish a construction organization to implement execution plans and coordinate resources.
Provide construction and execution strategy support to the Project Team.
Ensure Contractor and Subcontractors comply with safety expectations and procedures.
Oversee safety plans and SIMOPS for island and brownfield work.
Mentor UAE Nationals in construction management.
