Job summary

Wood PLC, on secondment to ADNOC Offshore, seeks an exceptional PMC Project Manager to deliver a major offshore project in accordance with ADNOC requirements, Wood standards, and the approved execution strategy.

The role leads engineering through procurement, fabrication, offshore installation, commissioning and handover, managing schedule, cost, risk, quality and HSE, while coordinating with ADNOC Offshore, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of overall professional experience, predominantly within oil and gas.
• Extensive experience managing major offshore oil and gas projects in EPC/EPCM/PMC environments.
• Proven experience leading large, multidisciplinary offshore projects with engineering, procurement, fabrication, offshore installation, commissioning, and start-up.
• Strong commercial, contractual, cost-control, planning, risk-management and change-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction to the PMC project management team.
• Act as the primary PMC interface with ADNOC Offshore, contractors, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
• Ensure delivery of project objectives in line with ADNOC requirements, Wood standards and the approved execution strategy.
• Establish clear project priorities, governance and performance expectations.
• Lead project reviews with ADNOC Offshore and senior management.
• Oversee execution of all project phases from engineering to handover, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and quality targets.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions; ensure integration between all project disciplines.
• Maintain strong client relationships, provide regular performance updates on schedule, cost, risks and issues.
• Demonstrate visible leadership in HSE, ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and QA processes.
• Manage risks, changes and commercial governance; develop mitigation and recovery plans.
• Lead large multicultural teams and coordinate interfaces between PMC and ADNOC Offshore.
