Job summary

Wood is seeking a PMC Senior Construction Manager in the UAE to lead offshore and brownfield construction efforts for a high-profile project. You will direct Construction Leaders for island construction and onshore precast, ensuring alignment with ADNOC Offshore procedures and shareholder expectations.

You will manage safety, schedule, cost and risk while coordinating with contractors, vendors, and project teams across onshore and offshore scopes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is essential to apply for this role.
• Offshore experience along with brownfield experience.
• Minimum of 25 years of experience on large oil & gas projects including offshore.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Construction team to support the objectives and strategies.
• Champion safety in all construction aspects and promote the safety objective that “Nobody gets Hurt”
• Manage on island construction teams for planning, development and operations to ensure construction execution certainty
• Oversee contractor’s construction planning and execution to meet project objectives
• Establish a construction organization to implement project execution plans and coordinate resources
• Provide construction and execution strategy support through oversight and assistance
• Ensure contractor and subcontractor compliance with safety expectations and procedures
• Steward development of an Integrated Safety Plan for construction including SIMOPS
• Review and implement contractor safety plans
• Stakeholder interface management with ADNOC Offshore OPCO and others
• Coordinate with design teams to ensure constructability and timely reporting to stakeholders
• Mentor UAE Nationals in construction management
• Communicate short and long term goals to reports and recognize outstanding performance
