Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Construction Manager (Offshore) in Abu Dhabi to lead on island construction, onshore precast, and offshore transportation and installation for brownfield modifications. You will manage Construction Leaders, ensure adherence to ADNOC Offshore procedures, and deliver projects to shareholder expectations in a high‑profile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent level of site experience.
• Professional Engineer accreditation preferred.
• Minimum of twenty (20) years of previous Construction management experience on large oil and gas development projects.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills across diverse cultures.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive project plan and detailed schedule with architects, engineers, contractors and stakeholders.
• Estimate costs accurately, control the budget and suggest cost‑effective alternatives.
• Ensure construction work meets required standards and specifications.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Oversee contracts with consultants, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance.
• Regularly report on project progress to stakeholders and address issues or delays.
• Facilitate smooth communication between all parties to keep everyone aligned.
• Mentor UAE Nationals in construction management and share knowledge.
