The Senior Officer - Repair Capability Development plays a critical role within Sanad's Aviation & Aero Engine MRO division, supporting the Center of Excellence in Repairs & Special Process. This position is responsible for providing technical, documentation, coordination, and administrative support to facilitate the planning, qualification, and implementation of new or enhanced aero-engine repair capabilities. Reporting to the Director and working under the guidance of the Senior Engineer, the role ensures compliance with OEM, regulatory, quality, safety, health, and environmental standards while coordinating across multiple departments to ensure the availability of tooling, materials, and technical information.
We seek a highly motivated professional with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field. Candidates should have at least five years of relevant experience in aviation, aero-engine MRO, manufacturing, repair development, process engineering support, or quality documentation. Preferred qualifications include training or certification in First Article Inspection (FAIR), engineering drawing interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), measurement systems, aviation quality systems, or Lean Six Sigma.
The ideal candidate demonstrates intermediate to advanced proficiency in technical documentation, repair capability development, FAIR support, regulatory compliance, project coordination, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. Familiarity with OEM technical requirements, aviation quality standards, and aero-engine repair and manufacturing processes is highly valued. Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production, Planning, Procurement, and other stakeholders are essential.
