Job summary

Target Engineering Construction Co LLC in Abu Dhabi invites an experienced Senior NDT Engineer to join our EPC teams delivering major Oil & Gas projects. You will oversee NDT activities, ensure compliance with client specs and international codes, and guide inspection planning.

This role requires leadership of NDT personnel, coordination with clients and third-party inspectors, and deep expertise in welding inspection, defect evaluation, and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of overall experience in Oil & Gas projects.
• At least 10 years of experience specifically as an NDT Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all NDT activities across EPC project phases.
• Ensure compliance with client specs, international codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Review, approve, and coordinate NDT procedures, techniques, and inspection plans.
• Supervise and support NDT personnel and ensure qualification compliance.
• Liaise with clients, third-party inspectors, construction teams, and quality departments.
• Monitor welding and NDT activities to ensure quality and project schedule objectives are achieved.
• Provide technical expertise regarding welding inspection, defect evaluation, and acceptance criteria.

YOUR ROLE

As Senior NDT Engineer, you will

• Oversee and manage all Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities across EPC project phases.
• Ensure compliance with applicable client specifications, international codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Review, approve, and coordinate NDT procedures, techniques, and inspection plans.
• Supervise and support NDT personnel and ensure qualification compliance.
• Liaise with clients, third-party inspectors, construction teams, and quality departments.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience

• Minimum 15 years of overall experience in Oil & Gas projects (10 years specifically as an NDT Engineer).

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Certified NDT Level III in accordance with ASNT, PCN, or CSWIP standards.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of: Welding Codes and Standards, NDT Codes and Standards, Personnel qualification requirements, Procedure qualification processes, Inspection and testing methodologies
• Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
