Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a skilled fabricator with sheet metal experience to join our fabrication team. You will interpret blueprints, operate CNC and welding equipment, and ensure product quality across production stages.

The role requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to communicate clearly with engineering staff. On-site position with opportunities for mentoring juniors.

Qualifications

• English fluency and ability to read blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and precision in fabrication
• Basic knowledge of safety standards and PPE usage
• Teamwork and communication with engineering teams
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and production processes ensuring precision in each step
• Utilize CNC machines and other fabrication tools to cut bend and shape sheet metal with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Conduct quality control inspections at various stages of production identifying defects and implementing corrective measures promptly
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide feedback on design feasibility and suggest improvements for manufacturability
• Assemble and weld metal components using MIG TIG or other welding techniques ensuring structural integrity and compliance with safety standards
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance to maximize productivity and minimize downtime during fabrication processes
• Document production processes and maintain accurate records of materials used and time spent on each task to facilitate project tracking
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations consistently using personal protective equipment PPE to ensure a safe working environment
• Train and mentor junior fabricators and apprentices sharing expertise to foster skills development and team cohesion
• Stay updated on industry trends new technologies and best practices in sheet metal fabrication to continuously improve work processes
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating independent problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly convey technical information
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy materials and perform repetitive tasks while adhering to safety standards
• Demonstrated commitment to quality and excellence, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Fluency in English; additional language skills can be an asset in diverse working environments.
