Job summary

Khansaheb invites an experienced Senior MEP Engineer to lead heavy mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations on a large-scale commercial project in Dubai. You will coordinate directly with civil teams and external authorities to ensure seamless execution.

Responsibilities include supervising daily site installation of HVAC, firefighting, electrical and plumbing systems, coordinating with the main contractor to prepare slab sleeves and openings, raising IRs and conducting site walks with

Qualifications

• Attested Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Society of Engineers (SOE) membership required.
• 6+ years direct UAE MEP contracting experience on commercial projects.

Job description

Khansaheb is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Engineer to manage heavy mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations on a large-scale commercial project in Dubai. You will coordinate directly with civil teams and external authorities to ensure seamless execution.

Core Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily site installation of HVAC, firefighting, electrical, and plumbing systems according to approved shop drawings.
• Coordinate with the main civil contractor to ensure all slab sleeves and blockwork openings are prepared before concrete pouring.
• Raise official Inspection Requests (IRs) and conduct site walk-throughs with the lead consultant to get completed work approved.
• Manage the final testing and commissioning phases, ensuring all systems meet DEWA and Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) standards.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Qualifications: Attested Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with active Society of Engineers (SOE) membership.
• Experience: At least 6 years of direct MEP contracting experience on UAE commercial projects.
• Papers: Must hold a valid UAE driving license and a transferable residency visa.
