Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai is seeking a qualified MEP Engineer with at least 5 years of UAE experience to oversee MEP design, execution, coordination, and quality control across buildings, villas and commercial projects.

You will review drawings and specs, plan installations (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting), coordinate with consultants and contractors, ensure compliance with DEWA and Dubai Municipality, and prepare shop drawings and progress reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in MEP works for buildings/villas/commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and firefighting systems.
• Familiarity with DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense and other authority standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP and MS Office.
• Strong project coordination, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret and implement MEP drawings, designs and specifications.
• Plan, schedule and supervise MEP installations (HVAC, electrical, plumbing and firefighting).
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, DEWA and Civil Defense regulations.
• Conduct site inspections, testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, material submittals and method statements.
• Monitor project progress, quality and safety standards.
• Handle MEP quantity estimation, BOQ verification and cost control.
• Support in resolving technical issues, RFIs and site conflicts.
• Maintain proper documentation and prepare project progress reports.
