Job summary

DESCO COPY PRINT CENTRE LLC in the UAE seeks an experienced MEP Engineer to coordinate and supervise MEP works for residential and commercial projects. You will review and approve MEP shop drawings, submittals, and material submittals, and obtain approvals from DEWA and Dubai Civil Defence.

Ensure compliance with UAE codes and project specifications, and coordinate with architects, consultants, and authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and authority regulations.
• DEWA and Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) certification/approval is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise MEP works for residential and commercial projects.
• Prepare review and approve MEP shop drawings, technical submittals and material submittals.
• Obtain and manage approvals from DEWA and Dubai Civil Defence (DCD).
• Ensure all MEP installations comply with local authority regulations UAE codes and project specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, consultants, contractors and government authorities.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Resolve technical issues related to MEP systems during design and construction.
