Job summary

A leading design firm in the UAE is seeking an experienced MEP Designer (Mechanical) to develop comprehensive mechanical design packages for retail, hospitality, and commercial projects. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5-7 years of experience in the UAE. Key responsibilities include creating HVAC layouts, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and collaborating with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong technical skills and the ability to manage tight deadlines across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in mechanical design for fit-out, F&B, retail, or commercial projects in the UAE.
• Strong experience in mechanical calculations such as HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and kitchen drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop full mechanical design packages including HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Produce mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with all UAE authorities and support submission processes.
• Attend design coordination meetings and review site conditions.
