Reliance Career Opportunities is seeking a Mechanical Foreman for our Abu Dhabi construction client. This role oversees mechanical technicians on site, reads blueprints, plans work, and ensures safety and quality across multiple projects.

The candidate will lead teams, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with other trades, and mentor junior staff. Strong reading of drawings and 5+ years in construction are required, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or equivalent not required but high school diploma or trade certification preferred.
• Experience: minimum 5 years in a similar role in construction.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of mechanical technicians and other workers on site.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Plan and schedule work assignments to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor and inspect progress for quality and compliance with specs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on site.
• Coordinate with other trades for smooth project execution.
• Train and mentor junior staff on construction techniques.
• Maintain records of progress, materials used and labor hours.
• Communicate project status with managers, engineers, and clients.
