Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in infrastructure/mechanical works.
• Strong experience with pump stations, lifting stations, and pumping systems.
• Knowledge of pumps, valves, piping, mechanical equipment and related systems.
• Experience installing, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting mechanical systems.
• Experience reviewing technical submissions: shop drawings, method statements, ITPs, RFIs, equipment submittals.
• Construction supervision and coordination with contractors and other disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor mechanical works per drawings, specs, method statements, ITPs, and project requirements.
• Supervise installation and execution of pumping, lifting, drainage, and related mechanical systems.
• Review contractor submissions: shop drawings, submittals, and technical proposals.
• Monitor installation, testing, commissioning, and completion of mechanical equipment and pipework.
• Coordinate interfaces with civil, electrical, and other disciplines.
• Inspect progress, quality, and compliance with approved documents.
• Review testing/commissioning procedures and witness tests for pumps and systems.
• Identify technical issues, risks, and corrective actions.
• Provide technical guidance to project team and contractor on mechanical matters.
