Job summary

AECOM Middle East Ltd is looking for an Electrical Mechanical Inspector in Dubai to oversee inspections and quality verifications of electrical and mechanical works for various infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical and mechanical inspection for stormwater, drainage, or pumping station projects.
• Strong experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of pumps, valves, switchgear, control panels, and mechanical systems.
• UAE experience with RTA and Dubai Municipality standards preferred.
• Knowledge of microtunneling-related systems is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures and testing protocols.
• Excellent documentation, coordination, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of IEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, DEWA, Civil Defense, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of electrical and mechanical installations including pumps, motors, control panels, cabling, valves, and piping.
• Verify installations against approved drawings, method statements, and technical specifications.
• Monitor alignment, testing, and commissioning of pumping station systems.
• Insure compliance with QA/QC requirements, IRs, and ITPs.
