Job summary

NOV is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer in Dubai to lead technical integrity for mechanical activities and ensure quality across the project lifecycle. The role requires independent execution of tasks, adherence to project schedules, and active participation in tests and inspections with the Project Quality Manager.

Responsibilities include detailed design, vendor interfacing, and development of specifications, with strong emphasis on HSEQ and compliance with international codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 15+ years of relevant oil and gas experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical codes and standards.
• Experience with vendor reviews and Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE).

Responsibilities

• Design, drawing and model review.
• Interface with subcontractors, suppliers, vendors.
• Budget analysis and resource management.
• Development of specifications and engineering documentation.
• Participate in supplier tender processes and clarifications (TD&C).
