Job summary

NOV in Dubai seeks a Senior Process Engineer with 10–15 years of oil and gas experience. You will lead the process team, develop key design documents (PFD, P&ID, data sheets) and ensure technical accuracy across projects. Proficiency in HYSYS, FlareNet, and ProMax is required, with site experience and strong communication skills.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and effective collaboration with disciplines, vendors, and clients to deliver within time and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in oil & gas.
• Fluent in process design concepts and standards.
• Fluent in process software tools (HYSYS, FlareNet, ProMax).
• Site experience required.
• Technical studies in project management are an advantage.
• Experience with Gas Dehydration and Sweetening packages.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with process lead/discipline manager to determine project objectives for the process team.
• Provide process engineering input to design activities undertaken by other disciplines.
• Interface with other disciplines and with vendors on process engineering topics.
• Ensure deliverables are technically accurate, within scope, budget and schedule.
• Provide leadership/mentorship for junior process engineers.
• Lead process design reviews (P&ID, HAZOP, SIL, HAZID, client/vendor meetings).
