Job summary

STIINE Electromechanical Works LLC is seeking a Mechanical Site Engineer to lead on-site operations for HVAC, Plumbing-Water & Drainage, and Firefighting networks. You will bridge engineering drawings with field installation, ensuring compliance with approved plans, local regulations, and quality standards.

Candidate should have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 10-12 years of site-based experience in building construction or MEP contracting, and be proficient in AutoCAD and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10-12 years of site-based experience in building construction or MEP contracting.
• Proficient reading of layout blueprints and knowledge of ASHRAE/NFPA codes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and MS Excel for reports.

Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: oversee mechanical installations ensuring conformity with drawings.
• Subcontractor Management: monitor daily progress, quality and manpower.
• Drawing Coordination: review shop drawings to detect clashes with other trades.
• Authority Approvals: assist in meeting local regulatory standards.
• Documentation & Inspection: manage TDS, submittals, MIR, test reports, as-built drawings and commissioning reports.
• Progress Reporting: maintain site diaries and generate progress reports for the MEP Project Manager.
• Labor & Material: monitor daily manpower and material requirements and coordinate with procurement.
• Testing & Commissioning: witness and execute pressure testing, balancing, and commissioning.
• Safety Enforcement: uphold HSE standards on site.
