Job summary

PeopleStrong seeks a highly organized MEP Engineer to oversee on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will bridge designs and field execution, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 8–12 years of on-site experience with integrated MEP scopes on residential, commercial, or industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 8–12 years of on-site construction experience handling integrated MEP scopes on residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Experience bridging engineering designs with field execution and managing specialized subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of HVAC ductwork, chiller systems, VRF units, AHUs, fire sprinkler systems, and ventilation.
• Oversee electrical containment, cable pulling, DB terminations, lighting layouts, and ELV systems like CCTV and access control.
• Coordinate daily tasks for MEP subcontractors and trade labor to maintain progress.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship meets quality benchmarks and local authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, Civil Defense).

We are seeking a highly organized and field-driven MEP Engineer to oversee the on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems. In this role, you will bridge the gap between engineering designs and physical execution. You will manage specialized subcontractors, ensure materials meet specifications, troubleshoot field clashes, and ensure all MEP systems are delivered safely, on schedule, and in compliance with building codes

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of HVAC ductwork, chiller systems, VRF units, air handling units (AHUs), fire sprinkler systems, and ventilation.
• Oversee electrical containment, cable pulling, DB terminations, lighting layouts, and Low Voltage (ELV) systems like CCTV, access control, and fire alarms.
• Coordinate daily tasks for MEP subcontractors and trade labor to maintain continuous progress.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship adheres to quality benchmarks, approved shop drawings, and local authority regulations (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, Civil Defense).
