Dubai Limited Investment LLC is seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsman to produce precise shop drawings, coordination drawings and as-built documents for civil construction MEP projects in the UAE. You will collaborate with engineers, site teams and consultants to ensure drawings meet project specifications and UAE authority requirements.

Responsibilities include developing layouts, sections, details, and coordination drawings across HVAC, plumbing, drainage and firefighting, plus handling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Formal training or certificate in AutoCAD/Revit MEP is advantageous.
• Strong reading of architectural, structural and MEP drawings essential.

Responsabilités

• Prepare mechanical shop drawings, layouts, sections and details for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting and related systems.
• Develop coordination drawings with MEP electrical and other trades and resolve clashes.
• Prepare and update as-built drawings based on site changes and survey information.
• Revise drawings promptly after comments from consultant, client and authorities.
• Prepare material submittals, equipment schedules, BOQ and quantity takeoffs from drawings.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision control and document transmittals.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specs, CAD standards and UAE codes/authority requirements.
• Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to verify site conditions and draw requirements.

Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Mechanical Draftsman to prepare accurate shop drawings coordination drawings and as-built drawings for our civil construction MEP projects in the UAE You willwork closely with engineers site teams and the consultant to ensure mechanical drawings are producedon time meet project specifications and comply with UAE authority requirements

Key Responsibilities

Prepare mechanical shop drawings layouts sections and details HVAC plumbing drainage firefighting and related systems from design drawings and engineer markups Develop coordination drawings with MEP electrical and other trades and help resolve clashes Prepare and update as-built drawings based on site changes and survey information Revise drawings promptly following comments from the consultant client and authorities Prepare material submittals equipment schedules bills of quantities BOQ and quantity takeoffs from drawings Maintain drawing registers revision control and document transmittals Ensure drawings follow project specifications company CAD standards and UAE codes andauthority requirements e g Civil Defence Dubai Municipality DEWA ADDC or the relevantauthority Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to verify site conditions and clarify drawingrequirements Support the engineering team with calculations design checks and technical documentation asneeded Keep drawing files organized and backed up in the project document system

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering Certificate or formal training in AutoCAD Revit MEP is an advantage

Required Experience

Minimum 7 years as a Mechanical Draftsman on civil construction projects in the UAE.Proven experience preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings that were approved by UAEconsultants and authorities.Experience with coordination drawings and multi-discipline projects.

Skills and Competencies

Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit MEP and Navisworks ispreferred.Good knowledge of mechanical systems and construction drawing standards.Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.Strong attention to detail, with good time management and the ability to meet deadlines.Good communication skills in English; Arabic, Hindi or Urdu is a plus.Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information

Candidates currently in the UAE with immediate availability are preferred.UAE driving license is an advantage.
