Job summary

Al Reef Project LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Draughtsman to prepare and modify civil, MEP, and infrastructure drawings using AutoCAD 2D/3D. You will coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and site teams to produce accurate plans, elevations, sections and as-built drawings.

The role involves updating drawings per site conditions, ensuring document control, and delivering compliant shop drawings and coordination drawings for roads, utilities, and land surveying projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in civil drafting, surveying or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D for civil, MEP and infrastructure drawings.
• Experience in civil, MEP infrastructure and construction drafting.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and survey data.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with engineers and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil, architectural, structural drawings with plans, elevations and sections.
• Prepare MEP drawings including HVAC layouts and piping layouts.
• Create infrastructure drawings for roads, utilities and drainage.
• Collaborate with engineers, surveyors and site teams to resolve clashes.
• Produce as-built drawings and maintain documentation control.
• Update drawings per site conditions and approved design changes.
• Coordinate with civil, MEP, structural and QA/QC teams for drawings.
• Prepare shop drawings and ensure compliance with project standards.

The Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing modifying reviewing and maintaining accurate technical drawings for civil MEP infrastructure and land surveying works The position requires strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D 3D technical drafting standards construction drawings survey data and coordination with engineers surveyors site teams and project management

Key Responsibilities

• strong 4 Land Surveying Survey Drafting strong Work closely with Land Surveyors and Site Engineers to prepare drawings based on survey data Prepare survey plans topographical drawings setting-out drawings and coordinate layouts Plot survey points coordinates benchmarks levels boundaries and existing site features Prepare road profiles longitudinal sections cross-sections and level drawings Convert survey data and field measurements into accurate CAD drawings Assist in preparing cut-and-fill grading earthwork and as-built survey drawings Verify dimensions coordinates levels and alignment information before issuing drawings strong

• strong 7 Coordination Site Support strong Coordinate with Civil MEP Structural Survey QA QC HSE and Site Engineering teams Review drawings and identify discrepancies before construction Provide technical drawing support to site teams whenever required Attend site visits to verify existing conditions measurements levels and installations Incorporate engineer and consultant comments into drawings Ensure drawings are issued accurately and within project deadlines strong
• strong 8 Documentation Drawing Control strong Maintain proper records of drawings revisions submissions and approvals Follow project drawing numbering revision and document-control procedures Prepare drawing registers and maintain updated CAD files Ensure superseded drawings are properly identified and controlled Print issue and distribute approved drawings as required Maintain organized electronic and hard-copy drawing records

• Knowledge of Civil 3D Revit or other relevant design drafting software will be an advantage

Preferred Experience

• Preferred ExperienceExperience in strong UAE GCC construction and infrastructure projects strong is preferred
• Experience with road drainage storm-water sewage utility MEP and land-surveying projects
• Experience working with consultants contractors and site engineering teams
• Familiarity with authority project drawing standards and technical submissions will be an advantage draughtsman
