Job summary

Petrofac in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Superintendent - Construction (Mechanical) to lead site-based mechanical and piping activities, ensuring HSE, quality, and progress.

You will coordinate with subcontractors, review ITPs, manage hold points, and drive on-site execution in line with project plans and client requirements.

The role requires extensive oil & gas EPC experience and strong leadership in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ Mechanical and Piping site experience with an international oil & gas EPC company.
• HVAC site experience in direct hire construction with international EPC.
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (ASME/API).

Responsibilities

• Lead site construction supervision and coordination with subcontractors.
• Ensure safety plans, toolbox talks, and housekeeping on site.
• Verify ITPs, QCPs, and quality requirements on site.
• Monitor schedule with weekly/4-week reviews and reporting.
• Liaise with client approvals and process packages.
