Job summary

Petrofac is seeking a proactive site construction leader in Abu Dhabi to oversee Mechanical, HVAC and Piping activities, supervise field teams and subcontractors, and ensure work compliance with project specifications and international standards.

The role emphasizes safe, on-time project delivery, quality workmanship, and effective coordination with engineering, QC inspectors, and other disciplines to achieve handover readiness.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of site construction practices.
• Experience with Mechanical/HVAC and Piping works.
• Ability to read drawings and IFC documents.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Direct field personnel to meet 90 day look ahead targets.
• Ensure work complies with contract requirements and standards.
• Develop and review construction plans, schedules, and estimates.
• Approve subcontractor execution plans aligned with project deliverables.
• Coordinate with engineering to ensure plans are constraint-free.
• Review and approve inspection/test records and ITPs.
• Monitor progress and report daily/weekly status to management.
• Manage punch items, NCRs, and change requests to protect budget.
