Senior Mechanical Construction Lead

Job summary

Petrofac is seeking a Superintendent - Construction (Mechanical) in the United Arab Emirates to lead on-site mechanical, piping and HVAC activities on major energy projects. You will supervise multiple subcontractors, drive safety culture, and ensure quality workmanship.

The role requires deep experience in EPC environments, knowledge of ITPs/QCPs, and the ability to coordinate with clients and field engineers to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

• 15+ years mechanical and piping site experience in direct hire construction with an international oil & gas EPC company and with subcontractors.
• 15+ HVAC site experience in direct hire construction with an international oil & gas EPC company and with subcontractors.
• Experience working in the CIS/FSU, Middle East, and/or North Africa; ability to work with a diverse international workforce.

Responsibilities

• Lead site supervision and manage subcontractors on a 90-day look ahead and weekly plans.
• Ensure safety by reviewing HSSE plans and conducting toolbox talks; enforce housekeeping standards.
• Verify ITPs and QCPs and ensure work is executed to quality first time; address NCRs and TQs.
• Coordinate with client and field engineering to obtain approvals and provide technical support.
