Job summary

WSP Middle East Limited – Dubai Branch is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Marine) to oversee the full lifecycle of marine infrastructure projects for Abu Dhabi Ports. The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing projects from inception to handover, ensuring compliance with client objectives, regulatory standards, and WSP’s commitment to excellence in safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 15+ years of experience managing large-scale marine infrastructure projects, preferably for ports/terminals.
• Proven track record delivering projects within scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Strong knowledge of marine construction methods, dredging, quay walls, and offshore works.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project execution plans, schedules, and budgets for marine infrastructure works.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Monitor progress against KPIs, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Maintain relationships with Abu Dhabi Ports, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and present regular status reports, financial updates, and dashboards to senior management.
• Control change orders, variations, and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead procurement activities, including tendering, evaluation, and award of marine contracts.
• Facilitate effective communication and issue resolution across all project parties.
• Drive continuous improvement and lessons-learned documentation for future projects.
