Job summary

WSP Middle East Limited – Dubai Branch is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Marine) to lead the full lifecycle of marine infrastructure projects for Abu Dhabi Ports. You will plan, coordinate, and deliver complex dredging, quay wall and offshore works while ensuring safety, quality and client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years of marine project leadership, a relevant degree (Master’s preferred), and PMP/PRINCE2 certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in large-scale marine infrastructure projects.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, and budgets for marine works.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure seamless delivery.
• Monitor progress against KPIs, manage risks, and implement mitigations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Lead procurement activities including tendering, evaluation, and awards.

WSP Middle East Limited – Dubai Branch is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Marine) to oversee the full lifecycle of marine infrastructure projects for Abu Dhabi Ports. The role involves planning, coordinating, and executing projects from inception to handover, ensuring compliance with client objectives, regulatory standards, and WSP’s commitment to excellence in safety and quality.

• Develop and maintain detailed project execution plans, schedules, and budgets for marine infrastructure works.

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery.

• Monitor progress against KPIs, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

• Maintain strong relationships with Abu Dhabi Ports, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders.

• Prepare and present regular status reports, financial updates, and performance dashboards to senior management.

• Control change orders, variations, and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.

• Lead procurement activities, including tendering, evaluation, and award of marine contracts.

• Facilitate effective communication and issue resolution across all project parties.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lessons‑learned documentation for future projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field; Master’s preferred.

• Minimum 15+ years of experience managing large‑scale marine infrastructure projects, preferably for ports or terminals.

• Proven track record delivering projects within scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.

• Strong knowledge of marine construction methods, dredging, quay wall, and offshore works.

• Professional certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is highly desirable.

• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

• Fluency in English (both written and spoken); Arabic is an advantage.

• Ability to lead multicultural teams and work in a fast‑paced environment.

• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and MS Office suite.

• Valid UAE driving license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
