Dubai Media Council is seeking a Lead Specialist – Legal to provide expert legal advisory services and ensure regulatory compliance across the organization in line with UAE laws and regulations.

The role involves reviewing contracts, coordinating with the Dubai Government Legal Affairs Department, monitoring regulatory developments, and supporting internal controls while collaborating with multiple departments to mitigate legal risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law required.
• Minimum 8 years in legal advisory or similar roles.
• Minimum 3 years experience working in a team.
• Excellent Arabic and English communication.

Responsabilités

• Provide legal advice and guidance to senior management and internal departments on contractual, regulatory, and operational matters.
• Review contracts, agreements, policies, and legal documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with Dubai Government Legal Affairs Department on legal matters, contracts, disputes, and litigation.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and assess their impact on the Council's operations.
• Support the development and implementation of legal compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with Human Resources, Procurement, Finance, Internal Audit, and other departments to identify and mitigate legal risks.
• Advise on intellectual property protection, data privacy, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Maintain effective relationships with government regulatory authorities and external legal service providers.
• Prepare legal compliance reports and provide recommendations to support management decisions.
• Promote legal awareness and compliance across the organization.
