Job summary

KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is seeking a Lead Piping Engineer for an Offshore Island Project in Abu Dhabi. The role will relocate to Spain during the project and return to Abu Dhabi upon completion, delivering safe, reliable piping solutions across FEED, Detailed Design, EPC, and construction phases.

You will lead a team of piping engineers and designers, coordinating with ADNOC, EPC contractors, vendors and multi-discipline interfaces to ensure compliant, efficient offshore facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Master's Degree in Mechanical or Piping Engineering preferred.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or PE advantageous.
• 18-20 years oil & gas engineering experience.
• 8-10 years in a Lead Piping Engineer role.
• Experience with ADNOC Offshore projects or major EPC contractors.
• FEED, Detailed Design, EPC, Brownfield and Greenfield experience.
• Offshore platform and processing facility experience.
• Strong knowledge of Middle East offshore projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead piping engineering and layout activities for offshore projects.
• Supervise a team of Piping Engineers, Designers, and Draftsmen.
• Ensure piping deliverables meet schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate engineering with ADNOC, EPC contractors, vendors and consultants.
• Review PMS, Material Specs, GIS data, isometrics and MTOs.
• Provide engineering support during fabrication, construction, and commissioning.
• Participate in HAZOP/HAZID, SIMOPS and risk assessments.
• Interface with Process, Mechanical, Structural, Civil, Electrical and Instrumentation teams.
