Job summary

Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island is seeking an Assistant Laundry Manager to support the daily operations of the hotel laundry and linen services, ensuring high standards of quality, hygiene and presentation in line with luxury hotel expectations.

You will supervise the laundry team, coordinate with departments, and help maintain inventory, schedules and equipment performance to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of laundry experience in luxury hospitality.
• Previous supervisory or team-leadership experience in hotel laundry.
• Strong knowledge of commercial laundry operations and fabric care.
• Understanding of hygiene, health & safety, and quality-control procedures.
• Experience with industrial laundry equipment and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Laundry Manager in overall daily operation of the hotel laundry.
• Supervise laundry team, ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
• Monitor washing, drying, pressing, folding, sorting, and distribution of linen.
• Ensure processing adheres to approved procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in the laundry area.
• Inspect linen and uniforms for quality and presentation.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Rooms Division, F&B and others on linen needs.
• Handle guest and special laundry requests accurately and promptly.
• Monitor equipment condition and report issues; assist with maintenance schedules.
• Train and develop staff on procedures, safety, and quality standards.
