Job summary

Black Pearl Consult in Dubai seeks an experienced Land Surveyor to lead field surveys for major infrastructure projects. The role requires proficiency with total stations, GPS, AutoCAD and MicroStation, plus the ability to read drawings and coordinate with contractors.

You will perform geodetic calculations, ensure accurate setting-out and leveling, manage field data, and contribute to as-built drawings while upholding safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Engineering or Surveying.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in roadworks, bridges or major infrastructure.
• RTA or Dubai Municipality Surveyor approval required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation and survey software.

Responsibilities

• Perform land and field surveys and conduct geodetic calculations for infrastructure projects.
• Use advanced survey equipment and ensure accurate data collection.
• Interface with clients and contractors to determine and verify project survey requirements.
• Complete surveying tasks within schedule, man-hour, and cost budgets.
• Check setting-out, levels, and service locations, ensuring their protection during construction.
• Prepare sketches to support field work and maintain all survey data, including field books, sketches, and calculations.
• Measure completed work when required and assist in preparing as-built drawings.
• Adhere to and enforce site safety procedures at all times.
