Job summary

Black Pearl Consult seeks an experienced IT Project Manager at the Associate level to join the Technology Department in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on end-to-end IT project delivery for a North America–focused team within a prestigious financial services organization.

Candidate must have 10+ years in IT project management, strong leadership, and proven ability to manage both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall. PMP and PMI-ACP certifications are mandatory, with a Bachelor's in CS/IT required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical discipline (mandatory)
PMP certification (mandatory)
PMI-ACP or equivalent Agile certification (mandatory)
10+ years of IT project management experience, ideally in financial services or investment management
Strong experience managing both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum projects
Experience with application development, enterprise systems, and data projects is essential
Experience working with global teams and coordinating across time zones

Responsibilities

Manage the full project lifecycle using Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and KPIs with stakeholders
Track progress, dependencies, risks, issues, and ensure timely delivery
Lead cross-functional project teams and engage senior stakeholders
Communicate updates, reports, and strategic insights across levels
Manage project budgets, procurement, and compliance with policies
Maintain accurate project documentation and executive-level reporting
