Job summary

ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank is seeking a Senior IT Procurement Officer to manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for the IT department in Abu Dhabi. The role requires acting as a senior buyer for IT and engaging with vendors to solicit proposals, negotiate terms and issue contracts and purchase orders.

The successful candidate will lead IT procurement efforts, maintain SAP Ariba usage, and ensure compliant vendor communication and contract management.

Qualifications

• IT procurement experience or IT background required.
• CIPS qualification or active membership preferred.
• Banking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle for IT department.
• Solicit proposals, negotiate terms, issue POs and manage vendor communications.
• Lead contract drafting, review, and archiving with stakeholders.
• Maintain SAP Ariba processes (RFPs, contracts, workspace).
• Coordinate vendor registration and account updates; ensure timely PO closure.
• Support internal customers and provide SME guidance in meetings and deals.
