Job summary

Alef Group is seeking a highly motivated Senior Specialist - AITC to lead IT infrastructure and operations in Sharjah. The role covers servers, storage, networks, cloud, security, backup, and disaster recovery, with oversight of capacity planning and vendor management.

You will collaborate with business units to align IT with strategic objectives. The candidate should have 7–10 years of IT infrastructure experience, strong leadership, and hands-on expertise in ITSM, cloud platforms, and security

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive IT infrastructure and operations experience, including multi-site networks and cloud infrastructure.
• 3–5 years in a supervisory role overseeing infrastructure service delivery, vendors, and projects.
• Experience implementing ITSM processes, asset/configuration management, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage IT infrastructure across offices and project sites, including servers, storage, networks, and cloud.
• Oversee monitoring, availability, capacity, incidents, and change control to minimize disruption.
• Lead ITIL-aligned ITSM practices; manage CMDB, SLAs, and escalation procedures; drive continual service improvement.
• Coordinate with application owners for infrastructure readiness, integration, and security controls.
• Support AI governance infrastructure considerations, vendor management, and project handovers.
• Ensure ISO/IEC 27001 controls, risk assessments, audits, and remediation actions are in place.
