Job summary

TOP ROCK INTERIORS LLC in Dubai seeks a Project Engineer to coordinate interior fit-out and joinery projects from award to handover. You will review drawings, specs, and BOQs, align with PMs, site engineers, and QA/QC, and drive progress per the approved schedule.

The role requires 4–8 years UAE experience in interior fit-out/joinery, strong drawing interpretation, and hands-on delivery across commercial, retail, hospitality, and high-end projects.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of UAE experience as a Project Engineer.
• Interior Fit-Out / Joinery experience is mandatory.
• Strong hands-on experience in commercial, retail, hospitality, F&B, office, or high-end interior fit-out projects.
• Good knowledge of interior fit-out execution, including partitions, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, joinery, painting, and MEP coordination.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, ID, shop, and MEP drawings.
• Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Hands-on experience with shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, technical submissions, inspections, and consultant approvals.
• UAE Driving License is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise execution of interior fit-out and joinery projects from award through handover.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, scope of work and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, Design, Planning, Procurement, QA/QC, HSE, Commercial and other departments.
• Monitor day-to-day progress and ensure works are executed per schedule and quality standards.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and attend site, coordination and client meetings.
• Support Project Manager in managing variations, site instructions, measurements and commercial requirements.
• Coordinate snagging, testing, commissioning and final handover activities; ensure proper handover docs.
