Job summary

Wood is seeking a Senior Instrumentation Engineer to lead the detailed design for ADNOC projects in the UAE, focusing on packages and field instruments. The role involves planning, modeling, and delivering instrumentation scope across DCS/SCADA/ICS while ensuring compliance with international codes and project requirements.

You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, drive SPI data sheets and loop drawings, manage interfaces, and support proposals while mentoring engineers on complex

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in oil and gas upstream offshore.
• Proven ability to design instrumentation for packages and field instruments.
• Experience with SPI in index/I/O data sheets and loop drawings.
• Strong English communication and leadership in large projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, model and analyze instrumentation requirements per client standards.
• Plan and execute instrumentation design for DCS/SCADA/ICS and safety systems.
• Prepare data sheets, cause-effect diagrams and loop drawings.
• Coordinate with project teams and clients, manage interfaces.
• Contribute to proposals and pre-qualification documents.
